The NEHY League season starts on 6th & 7th September

The Juniors are where it all starts for Mytchett Athletic and over the last couple of seasons we have seen a big increase of 4,5 and 6 year olds.

For some of the boys and girls, these sessions are the first steps into football and its thanks to Alan Wildsmith that the kids get off to a good start. Alan has been with the club for many years and has seen a lot of changes. He now trains the children of Fathers that he also trained.

Alan is a holder of the FA Full Coaching Certificate, and has many years of service with the Club, but has always said that its the look on the youngsters faces when they play their first match or score their first goal that makes being a part of Mytchett so worth while.

Training - Sundays 8:50am to 10:30am

Alan runs the training sessions for the Under 5s, 6s and 7s, we are now training at our home ground

Bellew Road in Deepcut, which can also be found on Blackdown Road.
Every Sunday at 09:00, we ask parents to arrive at 08:50 so we can start on time, and would ask you to use the car park provided which is opposite the pitch, thank you.

These training sessions will finish at 10:30 and will run until May.  Alan Wildsmith looks after these age groups and has been doing so for a number of years, he is also the Club President and I am sure he will meet you at the sessions.

Parents are always welcomed to stay and either watch or help out.  We dont charge weekly subs, however there are Teas and Coffees for sale and even a bacon roll, there is also a raffle for the kids, all the money raised helps this age group, monies raised goes towards the kids end of season do.

With regards what to wear, your child can wear whatever they feel comfortable in, the football strip will be given to the Under 7s and over, when they have a match.

FOOTWEAR: Trainers will be fine at first, BUT they MUST WEAR SHINPADS for their own protection.

Finally, have fun and most of all enjoy the football.

Maybe we will see you on Sunday

 Alan

Coming from Frimley Green (Wharf Rd), pass Lakeside Country Club on your right, sharp right-hand bend into Lake Road, just past a small bus stop turn left into Bellew Road, follow this road (mind the potholes), after a left and a right bend the road will straighten and you will find the pitch on the right-hand side and parking to the left.

Please note that a section of Bellew Road is One Way.
